Fire Damage – Coconut Grove Apartments

Fire damage at this Coconut Grove apartment building began on the second floor of this unit. The firefighters had to cut access holes in the roof to fight the fire. SERVPRO of South Miami was initially contacted to provide tarps for the holes in the roof awaiting the insurance adjuster to arrive and assess the situation. Our crews can typically provide needed tarps within two hours of the emergency call and sometimes sooner. After the insurance adjuster assessed the situation, we were asked to provide water damage and fire damage mitigation for the apartment building. Our technicians would first isolate all of the roofing damage and facilitate repairs while they were cleaning up the water and fire damage on the inside of the structure.
