Thrift Shop and Commercial Water Problems

The main water supply line to this South Miami Thrift Shop drenched the commercial carpeting and some low-hanging clothing. Our SERVPRO of South Miami crew of water restoration experts immediately employed a powerful truck-mounted water pump to extract the bulk of the standing water. The small retail store then received extensive service to eliminate the extremely high level of humidity that was remaining within the fabrics, carpet, and the air. We placed air movers and dehumidifiers, chemical and desiccant types, to capture the moisture to mitigate second water damage. This rapid removal decreased the RH, relative humidity, within the shop down to normal levels a day later.
